March 07, 2008
Hi

Thought for the month

What is one of the main ways by which a parent shows love for her/his child? Keeping the child from harm is, perhaps, the most instinctive way.

For around 60 years, mainly due to ignorance and the actions of cynical governments, most parents have been failing to keep their children from harm by feeding them foods laced with poisons.

Harsh words but true.

Increasingly though, as we are becoming more awake to the dangers of intensively produced foods and the benefits of those produced organically, parents are showing love for their children in action, not just words.

Malini Saigal for example, a single parent, says: “You keep hearing about pesticides in food, liver damage, arsenic poisoning…he’s a growing boy with a hearty appetite. God forbid if something should happen to him at 35 because of what he is eating now.” Read how and why she has 'insured' her son's future health organically - Click here

Still on the subject of organic food health benefits - How a young girl with a rare blood disease became an award-winning organic healer

Rosukon Poompanvong, was born in 1955 in Thailand. When she was found to have a rare blood disease her family moved away from their chemically-polluted land, to fertile forest that had not been poisoned by intensive farming methods.

Rosukon went on to become a champion sportswoman and an award-winning alternative healer. Today she runs her own health farm/hospital, receiving over 20,000 queries per month from over 60 countries. Behind her success is organic produce. Read her story
