Opening in time for the Organic Fortnight is Gaia Organic Food Store in Boldmere, Sutton Coldfield, Gaia has just attained Soil Association certification to operate as a recognised Organic retail store.

It is the first such certified store in Sutton Coldfield and one of only a handful in the West Midlands. We have a wide range of Gluten free, and Vegan products which we have highlighted in the store as well as dairy free and wheat free alternatives.

The store is aimed at those who want to get all their organic produce in one place rather than having to hunt high and low for it in the larger supermarkets and products are sourced as locally as possible too.

By opening in the heart of a thriving community and by offering home delivery we aim to reduce the ever growing impact of food miles on the environment.

It would be great if we can take just a few cars off the road by offering this additional service to local shoppers, and thereby help others reduce their carbon footprint and at the same time helping the environment by promoting organic food. With the soaring price of petrol and free delivery, we hope to help our customers in the pocket too.

To celebrate Organic fortnight and the opening of the store, tastings of selected organic foods will be offered at weekends up to the 21st September.
