Welcome to Organic Food for Everyone.

Our aim is...

... to let you know everything about organic food; what it is, how and where to buy it, ways of cooking it, and all the issues behind it, such as production, the law and standards, human, animal and environmental health, and much more.

When I first tasted an organic meal my taste buds came alive. I particularly remember the carrots and mashed potatoes. 'Sweet' and 'creamy' respectively are the adjectives that spring to mind.

I also remember the way the boiled potatoes stayed whole and firm once they were cooked, unlike conventionally produced spuds that are prone to disintegration in a pot of boiling water.

I had always assumed that taste buds decline as we get older, that they become 'dulled'. After a lot of research, much of it mouth-conducted, I realised that it's not our taste buds that are at fault, but the conventionally produced food that we have been eating since intensive farming started up just after WW2.

My health, and that of Alison, my partner, started improving within days of switching to organically produced food. We felt, and feel, better physically and mentally.

We think you should have the opportunity to make this health-giving, life-promoting switch.

With that in mind we aim to provide you with all the information you need, and more, to give you the best start should you decide to 'go organic'.

If you have already made the transition, there is a whole lot of stuff for you also.

Apart from the experience of organic food that Ali and I have gained first-hand, I spent two years researching and writing on numerous issues for an academic research company, as well as on a freelance basis for my own clients. This has ingrained in me the absolute necessity for accuracy in writing. Please be assured that the articles and information we provide for you on this website reflect this.

I also spent some time working for an arable research company. The work involved testing the reaction of Sugar Beet to various chemical inputs. I realised then just how far our food is manipulated before it reaches our plates.

If you are thinking about growing your own organic produce you are in the right place. We have been growing our own vegetables and herbs for some years now. The satisfaction is fantastic and it's great on the finances too. Have a look at our organic vegetable gardening guide - you can access it from the site map or the navigation bar.

Please enjoy your visit. If your visit is fruitful then please return. New articles, news, and information will be appearing regularly.

Click on the home page link below for an overview of, and links to, all that we have for you here. Click on site-map for a full list of all the articles and information.

By the way, we would love to hear from you. Please use the contact form to get in touch with us for any reason.

Best wishes

Vic and Alison
